OKC - County Health Department Foundation

Public health departments play an extremely important role in improving and protecting the health of individuals and communities. Oklahoma City - County Health Department Foundation is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that utilizes private dollars to support the Oklahoma City - County Health Department as it works to deliver essential services such as disease prevention, ensuring access to safe food and water, immunizations, and preparing for and responding to health emergencies.

 

While OCCHD is a publicly funded agency, generous donors in our community help us broaden its reach, enhance its services and build a healthier community in Central Oklahoma.  

 

Oklahoma City - County Health Department Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community, starting with the most frequently overlooked. We believe, in order to have a flourishing and thriving city, we have to start with the health of our people. 

 

Here at Oklahoma City - County Health Department Foundation, we mobilize resources, share best practices and encourage open collaboration between public and private organizations as well as policy makers to promote a healthier community.
